Product Description
We've taken our collaboration with fingerstyle guru Eric Schoenberg to the next level with a great-sounding new model, the 0 body style with an Adirondack spruce top. Adirondack has been a prized choice for guitar tops since the 1920's. It is generally considered to be more resonant than Sitka Spruce and it also has a unique wide-grain pattern that makes Adirondack guitars aesthetically unique. For many years, Adirondack spruce was rare or unavailable; even now, guitars with Adirondack spruce tops are among the most sought-after guitar models on the market. Recording King is offering two new Adirondack models, 12-fret 0 body sizes with either solid African Mahogany (RP1-326) or Solid East Indian Rosewood (RP1-327) back and sides. The new RP series guitars have a nut width of 1-3/4 inch and a 25.4 inch scale length - perfect for fingerstyle playing or strumming, and the one-piece neck is fitted to the body with a hand-cut dovetail joint. The fretboard is made from ebony, as is the pyramid bridge. Each guitar is finished with a thin coat of nitrocellulose lacquer for resonance. The classic slotted headstock adds the appropriate element of vintage style to these tonally superior guitars.
