In the 1920's the Oscar Schmidt Company made many parlor guitars using elaborate designs of colored wood, inlaid and celluloid-bound top and bottom edges, beautifully engraved sound holes, the best quality tuners, mahogany necks with rosewood finger-boards, and rosewood bridges. The O315 is a return to that era. It has a very distinctive bright sound reminiscent of those '20s era guitars with a rich depth unequalled in this body shape.
